FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

THE FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTALLATION, SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF OUR PRODUCTS. TECHNICIANS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FACE TO FACE WITH CUSTOMERS ON A REGULAR BASIS. THERE IS SOME PHYSICAL LABOR INVOLVED IN BEING A FIELD TECHNICIAN, AND SOME LIFTING OF EQUIPMENT.

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS:


ABILITY TO USE ALL HAND TOOLS.
FAMILIARITY WITH MACHINE SHOP EQUIPMENT (E.G. WELDER, HEATING GUN, ELECTRIC SAW…)
VERY STRONG ANALYTICAL AND TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS.
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WITH DESIRE TO EXCEED CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS.
PROFICIENT IN STANDARD AND METRIC SYSTEMS.
PROFICIENT IN USING A TAPE MEASUREMENT.
PROFICIENT IN USING IPAD, MS OFFICE 2011 (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK) AND GENERAL COMPUTER LITERACY.
FAMILIARITY WITH MOBILE TOOLS AND APPLICATIONS.
EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER RELATION SKILLS.
MUST BE A SELF-STARTER, TEAM PLAYER, WORK WELL WITH OTHERS AND HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
MUST HAVE ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE, MULTI-TASK AND MEET DEADLINES.
SHARP, QUICK, DEDICATED AND INNOVATIVE PROBLEM SOLVER.
MUST BE A CREATIVE THINKER, RESULTS ORIENTED, FOCUSED, AND ATTENTIVE TO DETAIL AND ACCURACY.
ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY IN A TIMELY MANNER, MAKING SURE JOB IS DONE CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME.
ADHERES TO CORE VALUES AND CONTINUOUS SELF-IMPROVEMENT.
MUST BE ORGANIZED AND DETAIL ORIENTED.

REQUIREMENTS:

SERVICE EXPERIENCE OR APPRENTICE WELCOMED.
SPANISH SPEAKING A BIG PLUS
ABILITY TO WORK FLEXIBLE SHIFTS AND TO ADAPT TO CHANGING WORK SCHEDULES.
WELL-GROOMED, NEAT APPEARANCE.
VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
VALID SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG TEST(S) AS REQUIRED BY COMPANY.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK.
LIFT UP TO 50 POUNDS; BE ABLE TO PUSH, PULL, CARRY OR MANEUVER HEAVIER ITEMS (WITH ADDITIONAL MANPOWER OR APPROPRIATE DEVICES)
MUST BE ABLE WORK IN SMALL SPACES AND STAND FOR LONG PERIODS.
